Familiar, and yet not.

"My name is John Blackstar, an astronaut. A gravity wave hit and I got swept through a black hole. Now I'm lost in some other universe, on this planet - a magical world - full of strange alien life forms. Listen, please: is there anyone out there who can hear me? I'm being hunted by a cruel overlord ... doing everything I can. I'm just looking for a way home."

(FS fans, please forgive me.)

Ah, Blackstar. In many ways the ur-He-Man, and heir to the rich pulp tradition of lone astronauts stranded on distant worlds. At 11, I didn't know any better; but now, thanks to the wonder of the Internet, I can see with adult eyes just how bad the animation was, and how silly the characters and stories were.

Now there's an idea for Uresia campaign, retelling FS through that lens...
I call the Scorpyesque character!

Hmm, that sounds a lot like the opening credits monologue for Farscape by John Chriton.
