Oct. 25th, 2002 04:50 pm1. What's the first thing you remember wanting to be when you grew up? An astronaut.
2. Describe a dream you remember: This morning - as a top sergeant in the Army or National Guard, taking a bus out into the field with my men to participate in an exercise. (Which is weird, because I'm about as non-military as you can get.)
3. What book are you reading? None, presently.
4. What colour are your sheets? Pale blue.
5. What song is in your head right now? "Prelude", Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy)
6. Where are you? In my usual spot, in front of the computer in my living room.
7. I am afraid of: heights, being alone not by choice, the consequences of the Bush administration's foreign policy
8. Your dream job: Master of a harem ;)
9. What movie have you seen the most times? Star Wars
10. One question for Jesus, or Buddha or Muhammed, etc: Did you ever imagine that so much evil would be done in your name?
11. The guilty pleasure you'd really rather not admit to here: ... I'm not going to admit to it here. Duh.
12. Comfort food of choice: Italian (pizza or lasagna)
13. What's the last video you rented? Rented, I don't recall; watched, The Hobbit
14. Who do people say you look like? I honestly don't know. I'd like Jerry O'Connell to play me in the movie, though.
15. What's the bane of your existence? Procrastination and laziness (mine)
16. What's the last thing you found on the ground and picked up? A penny? I don't know.

19. A word of wisdom: Live.
20. The question you get asked ALL THE TIME!!!: A few of them, actually, over and over by my stroke-addled father. Usually "can you get me some more ____?" (sure) or "is there any way I can put aside some money for you guys and my granddaughter?" (no, the State of Oregon gets it all when you go, in return for paying for all of your medical costs now)
21. When was your last hospital visit? About three months ago, the last time my father had a medication crisis and had to spend a few days there.
22. The last thing you said out loud: "Not right now."
