Got home from a very nice outing with naudiz and pjack, belatedly celebrating my birthday with a buffet lunch, to find three letters from Wells Fargo in my mailbox. It seems that when I made two ATM withdrawals on Thursday, there was already a pending check that overdrafted me. Of course, the machine was happy to give me money and a slip telling me I had a positive balance; it was only at the end of the day that I got dinged three times at $32 a pop.

F---ers.

One of my brothers is coming over now to loan me some money until Monday, when I can pay him back out of savings. I just want to get the balance positive RIGHT NOW before anything else happens. (I'm not going to bother arguing with Wells Fargo; I already know my chances of swaying them are as slim as the various peace protests having any effect on this administration's policy.)
