If I read the numbers right, Flynn's terminal has been on and/or idle for 20 years, 11 months, 20 days, 16 hours, 22 minutes and 16 seconds.

Amazing when you consider that much of the original was hand-animated (traced) because the state of the art hadn't even got to textures; they were still using flat and shaded polygons. (And taking most of a day to render them - that part's still true, I guess. *waves to dwh*) These days, everything is CGI and you'd be hard pressed to find a feature-quality ink and paint studio...
