at both ends

For a while now, like many people, I've been "living for the weekend" - particularly for my Saturday morning gaming time with friends in CoH. Lately, however, I've also been trying to squeeze as much as I can out of the week nights... with the result that I'm often just too tired to get up on time, when I have the option not to.
