Just dreamt of a "new" episode of the 80s Mission Impossible, with someone else in the place of Jane Badler; a curious IMDB search (yes, really) claimed it was Tress MacNielle (!), but she looked and sounded a bit more like Pat Tallman, IMO. The plot, of which I caught only the final act, played out like a softer version of Blade Runner - tracking down a rogue replicant, who ends up dying peacefully in bed, with a final defiant "I am real" and being assured, "Yes, you are."

(wasn't entirely sure what to tag this entry; considered both 'nostalgic' and 'geeky'.)

In the same spirit as von Moltke's famous axiom:

No GM is ever as prepared as they'd like to be. On the rare occasions when we delude ourselves that we are, the players will inevitably take off at 90° half an hour into the session. And should we manage to anticipate even this, expecting them to go left or right, they will go up.
