My roommate, Deirdre, was sick tonight. I learned this when I heard a 'thunk' outside my door and went out to find her sitting on the floor next to a spilled bowl of ramen noodles (the only thing she felt she could hold down). So I helped her up, cleaned up the noodles, and then popped down to the corner store to get her some ginger ale (okay, make that two things).

She seemed to be feeling at least a little better by the time she went to bed, a few minutes ago. *strikes pose* My work here is done.
