So I finally got myself one of these things. ("C'mon, Kelly, all the cool kids are doing it...") Blame

naudiz, mostly. I wonder if I'll be more successful than my last attempt at keeping a journal, back when I started college - or if, either way, I'll be as amused and embarassed reading this one in ten years' time as I was when I recently found that one. I do find writing at the computer marginally easier than longhand (and easier on the hands, at least in the short run), barring distractions, so we'll see.

I once heard that the first million words one writes are crap, so it's best to get them out of the way as quickly as possible. What better way than by inflicting some of them on you?

Anyway, here I am, with my muddy and beaver-dammed stream of consciousness, my custom color-tweaked Journal, and my insecure, feedback-craving writer's ego. Praise me, PRAISE ME!
