Watching the scene where Neo confronts the Source with the fact that it needs his aid (which it angrily denies) gives me an odd, almost ... parental feeling. It's satisfying, though also bittersweet, to think that our creations might evolve to possess such complex, flawed, human emotions as bravado, stubborn pride and/or self-delusion.
