Dad-Watch Update
Jul. 26th, 2002 05:40 pmHe was sitting up in bed and quite cheerful and talkative when I went to see him today, though his memory buffer is down to about five minutes. That will improve; he's usually like this after one of his incidents. It means he's not coming home today, though, for sure.
In other news, it was another secretary's birthday today and we had cake this afternoon. mm, cake.
8:00 p.m.: Looks like I spoke too soon. He's still a little out of it, but the doctor cleared him to come home and I went over with my other brother Justin to spring him. Now, since he got a nicotine patch while he was there, we just have to keep him away from his pipe for the next day or so to keep him from getting sick from that. It never ends...
