An observation on undercover-cop movies
Jul. 27th, 2002 08:00 pmWhen I see ads for The Fast and the Furious (or, as some wag on Mr. Cranky put it, "Point Break with cars"), I can't help but wonder where are the movies where a criminal infiltrates the police department, only to be tempted by their lawful and rule-bound lifestyle (and by the Chief's hot daughter, of course).
Then I remember that most of the people who go to see these movies are teenage boys, which answers that question.
