I got the money to pay my brother back out of savings, then went by Wells Fargo to see if they'd give me any of my money back. I probably should have just left when their idea of "customer service" turned out to be showing me to a phone to dial the 800 number. But no; I politely explained my issue to the woman who answered ,and patiently waited on hold until she came back to tell me that they would not be reimbursing any of the charges to my account.

"Will there be anything else, sir?"
"No... I think that will be all. Goodbye."

I almost went up to the counter and closed out the account right then and there, but I figure I can do that tomorrow, after I've decided which of the credit unions in town I'm taking my business to. (I'm leaning to U-Lane-O at the moment.)

We always had good luck with U-Lane-O, when we lived in Eugene.

In fact, when they open their new Salem branch, we're planning upon switching over to them again.
