Hurricane Katrina should be making landfall soon.
I'm going to bed now, and hoping that there's still a city of New Orleans in the morning.

Yeah... I was so out of it this past weekend that I didn't realize how severe this could end up being.

Mom gave me the scoop last night, and now I'm worried... mainly for the people evac'd to the Superdome. I can't imagine the roof NOT getting ripped off.

*reads* Ah. It yanked two pieces of the Superdome's roof off already. o_o

Is it just me, or do quotes like this make you worry that people won't take it seriously enough:
"It's not life-threatening, God's got our back."
