Think of your favorite underrated film, type the name into Google and do an image search. Find the best pic and then post it in your journal, but don't say what the name of the movie is! Once you post the picture, it's up to your friends to figure out what the movie is from the pic you posted. No cheating by looking at the image filename! Responses are screened so that everyone can play. :)

This one probably isn't too hard.

"A phantom army of super-elite fighting men, whose weapons are the most powerful science can devise."

Sounds like the WDF in its early days, dunnit?

Why do I know about this movie?

Not because I've seen it, because I haven't...

... but because there's a full-color ad for it on the back cover of Iron Man Vol. 1 #162, which happens to have been the first issue I ever bought.

What a strangely interconnected world pop culture is.

Your right, that is an easy one..

Just happened across your page and saw this picture.

Megaforce 1982, Staring Barry Bostwick.

A little trivia for you...do you know what movie Barry Bostwick turned down because he was doing this film?

He was asked to reprise the role of Brad majors for the sequel to "the rocky horror picture show" which was titled "Shock Treatment". He, unfortunately was already committed for Megaforce.

Susan Sarandon, on the other hand was not involved with any project for the sequel, but had made a request for half the gross profits, and they removed the offer for her.

Just a little bit of trivia.

Not being a big Rocky fan, I know of Shock Treatment only via Something Positive.

That said, I'd rather have Megaforce than another Rocky movie.
