Thought of this one today.

Marshall Graham has succeeded in thwarting Volkor, renegade scientist of the far future. There's just one small problem: to minimize further damage to the timeline, Graham was plucked out of his time just seconds before he was due to be shot dead by a couple of outlaws. (Instead, his disappearance into a glowing hole becomes a minor mystery of the Old West.) They can't send him back.

Kyi-La offers to let him to stay in the 26th century, but he finds it incomprehensible and overwhelming. Of his other choices, he definitely doesn't want to return to the zombie-and-mutant-infested post-apocalypse, or to the prehistoric cavemen. So he decides to live out his days in the time of castles, knights and wizards.

Upon his arrival, Graham saves the life of a king and his retinue who have been waylaid by bandits. He is promptly knighted for his courage, service and skill at arms.

Flash-forward some thirty years, to a reflective King Graham coming across his old six-shooters (long since out of bullets) and reminiscing about his strange, oft-troubled but happy life...

(Yeah, Hologram: Time Traveler and King's Quest. How do ya like that?)

*note: This post should not be considered an endorsement of TT, which consisted of bad costumes, bad acting, mediocre and frustrating gameplay, and a cheesy gimmick. The KQ series, on the other hand, represents Sierra's golden age.

In other news, I've finally located an elusive gift card and will be heading out to Valley River after work today to get some more clothes (Dockers, shirts, etc).
