Well, I did get caught up on my sleep last night. And then I finished the old game I've been (re)playing recently. And my stomach settled down some after I got home. (Downing a cremosa in two minutes, tops, on a full tummy probably wasn't a good idea.)

However, it's rather warm today. And I wonder if that has anything to do with Kingdom Hearts II and/or my PS2 refusing to acknowledge the "Start" button from either of my controllers. (One controller seems to work fine on other titles and the machine's own browser, but when I boot the KH2 disc, I can't even interrupt the title sequence.) This is a brand-new, shrink-wrapped copy of KH2 with no visible scratches.

I'll re-check ALL of the connections and try again tonight, after I attend the Silver-Age-themed party in CoH this evening.

EDIT: Fault traced to PS2 controller (PS1 controller only partially compatible, despite my suspicions that they're identical hardware). New controller bought; issue resolved.

Now if only the CoH thing had not been such a massive, crowded letdown. But, on the whole, I'm feeling better now.

I was on Virtue D-5, you could have hung out with me and my 'emo' crowd, discussing our villainous origins.
I flipped off the comentator...

No, you really didn't. :p

Pocket D hit 7-ish instances on Virtue. Positron supposedly made a brief appearance in one of them.
There was an unofficial? costume contest; we were not impressed by the judging. MJ didn't even make the finals.
