Five years ago, when I got to work at my usual time, one of the other secretaries sat me down and told me something impossible:
"The twin towers of the World Trade Center no longer exist."

I've no words for what happened that day, nor the dazed days after, more eloquent than John M. Ford's.

So touching that when I first read it, in the raw week just after, I didn't even realize it was in rhyming couplets until the end.
