Endings and beginnings

So long to January, which sucked.
The month, of course, is named for the Roman god with two faces, looking both behind and forward.

Today I went to tea-social with friends for the first time since the night I found out (and begged off and went home early). I took back some empty cans and bought more food, and picked up my mail, which I'll be looking over before I go to bed. Tomorrow I'll pay rent and bills and get on with actually applying for that job at the library.

No more cocooning. *crosses fingers*
