AVG annoyances
Jan. 14th, 2008 07:33 amDoes anyone know if it's normal for the free version of AVG to demand to be rebooted after every single daily update? I seem to recall that it didn't for the first few weeks; is this how they get you to upgrade, or am I just imagining it?
I suppose it's a trivial thing, but I liked having uptimes of more than 24 hours, and not having "Restart now?" nag screens in my face every day. Frankly, if it's gonna keep doing this, I may go back to McAfee.
