Nyetwork, again

After the "fix", I now have an unfamiliar entry on my Network Connections panel - "Local Area Connection on Linux IGD", an "Internet Gateway." Trouble is, I can't seem to get through it with anything that requires a special port - no ICQ, no City of Heroes, no Puzzle Pirates, no Torrent. And I have no clue how to configure it - my networking fu is weak.
Help? Please.
EDIT 2: ICQ was able to find an open port (20), but I suspect that's rather sub-optimal, and the other things still don't work.
