Look, guys: no one likes a tease. Either do it, or admit that you don't have the votes or the stones and just shut up.

To be fair, the Québec separatist movement does go through the process from time to time, thus publicly displaying that a) it has the stones and b) it hasn't got the votes... yet. It's that "yet" they keep reminding people of.

Dear God yes.

Back in the late 90's there were yahoos from Texas talking about splitting off and restoring the old borders - which includes Colorado.

I think the phrase "Fuck off Texas" was uttered more than once.
