A thought on the new movie
Mar. 8th, 2009 08:31 amAccording to spoilers I've seen so far, the differences between the new Star Trek and TOS are explained by/the result of temporal meddling by the villain of the piece.
Does this not put Abrams himself in that role, at our level of the narrative? The entity who has altered the past, particularly the character of James Kirk, for his own ends?
