There is little point in arguing with people who are directly opposed to your point of view and equally convinced of its rightness, as neither of you is likely to change. It's a waste of time that would be better spent on other things, and can cause needless, useless aggravation. Pick your battles and focus on areas where you might actually make a difference. Bashing your head against a wall will just give you a headache and will not significantly reduce the wall.
