Post-Christmas Update

cmdr_zoomJust got back from visiting my father (he was asleep and didn't want to get up for more than a minute to say hello) and exchanging my bad Tron DVD for a new copy. This was the Christmas I finally got into DVD; I also received Attack of the Clones, Shrek, Monster's Inc, the first Star Trek movie, and Galaxy Quest. Go me!
Other presents from my family included MS Combat Flight Sim 3, a set of sheets, cash from my father, and plenty of food: chocolates, preserves, olives plain and stuffed, and so forth. A friend sent me some Borders gift cards, and from co-workers I got more treats and gift certificates (for pizza, Mexican, and movies -- maybe I'll FINALLY get a chance to go see The Two Towers, or Die Another Day, or...).
And I would have gotten myself a PS2 today, to replace my brother's that I'm borrowing at the moment, but the places we went tonight were out of stock. Not bad for a three-year-old console. Of course, when I do get one, I'll have to pick up some games for it too...
