Finally Finished FFX

... and now, when I'm done crying at the ending, I can get started on Kingdom Hearts. But not tonight.

(Couldn't they have found a way to segue to the FF theme at the very end of the credits, though? It's tradition. Hrmph.)

I still have about 1/4 left of the game. Now I'm inspired to try to finish it soon. :)

Yes, do. I was stalled about where you are for several months, due to a falloff in interest and lack of regular access to a PS2. Actually, I'd already completed most of the story and was just leveling up for the endgame.

These past few days, I did a little more of that, picked up some more gear and aeons, and decided I was ready to tackle the end. In fact, I blew through the early end-bosses in one or two rounds. I (heart) Bahamut. :)

The last two battles were a grinder, however. And the ending... well, if you're 3/4 in, you can probably guess it's not going to be entirely happy. But it was absolutely beautiful, and very moving.

And for the first time, Square is making a sequel! I'm not sure how I feel about that...
