The head of the Catholic Church criticizes "conformist dictatorship." And says that is what's behind recent "attacks" on the church.

I'd agree, but not the way he means it.

There is a reason i refer to the current pope as pope palpatine beyond how he looks.
I don't think he was the best choice in pope but the church has survived scandals and bad popes before. I just hope that he doesnt drive away all the young catholics who were brought to the church by the shining hopefull nature of the last pope.
