I've got an idea for a new DFB character (to keep earning prestige and playing with you guys hero-side): a magic Tanker, stone/stone - the Spirit of the Row. An urban elemental, spawned off by Kings Row itself.

Thoughts?

Even from this remove, Kings Row still makes me cringe.

Sounds like a good background.

I don't remember who in the group ran him, but we had a Stone/En tanker called Graffiti at one point who was a graffitied up section of a King's Row brick wall come to life to defend the neighborhood. Although they dropped the character after losing interest in it.

I always missed the concept. I think you could run with it and do fine. :) And tankers are always nice, means I can take Dusty out for a spin more.

Okay, I'm sold. I think I'd prefer to go with my own thought (and powersets), rather than try to pick up the old character.

On a related note: dude, update the D.F.B. site! :D

Yeah, I mean run with the concept of an urban elemental, not run with the specific name and powersets the previous one had. Just saying I dig it. :)

DFB site needs a massive overhaul. DG could use a site, too. x.x Just a matter of finding time...

There was a quickly-deleted comment where I mused about finding out who it was and picking up the reins, but I decided I preferred my own powersets and/or concept. :)

I ran the character (or a version of him, if I decide to go back and tweak things) up to level 5 last night. I'm enjoying the powersets and I think the look I chose for him works. The main thing I'm having trouble with now is finding his voice - literally and figuratively - and defining the nature of the avatar's connection to the zone. I welcome any and all suggestions.

Yeah, I know. I'm in the same fix, despite having as much if not more free time than you. So many projects...

(small addendum - I'm already doing the semi-articulate giant brute with the Abomination, so I'd prefer either entirely mute(!) or more well-spoken, perhaps even philosophical, in a manner that fits Kings Row as a character.)

Brick ran Graf, I believe.

Hehe. I'm a fan of the concept, and hope the powersets work out well.

I keep coming back to ice, myself on things. Big fan of playing what I know, I guess.
