Assuming that one doesn't take this movie as a straight-up metaphor for the addictive qualities of money, power, and/or cocaine (which, like matter and energy, are often equivalent and can be transformed from one to another), the message seems to be "you don't ever have to go back to being dull stupid Charly Gordon as long as you keep taking the druuuuuugs."
