Moving Day is...

cmdr_zoomNext Sunday AD (28 Aug), with the movers showing up at noon.
The twin difficulties for me so far have been the heat, which saps my motivation and makes doing anything uncomfortable (especially filling and shifting boxes); and the limited space in my room, in which I still have to live during this week. Most of my Stuff is already up against the walls, on shelves; I have to empty the shelves, box the Stuff, then disassemble the shelves (boards and decorative concrete) and put them and the Stuff back up against the walls.
In computing terms, I have a very small swap file.
And then there's throwing away or donating anything I don't care to keep/move, arranging for phone and net service to transfer over, and mail, and cleaning up the old room... it's a good thing I don't have to be entirely out until the middle of next week.
