I've mostly or completely given up on trying to explain to farmers and exploiters why what they're doing is wrong and how breaking the game design and the leveling curve does hurt the game, both for current and new players. I'm not going to convince anyone. Most seem unwilling or unable to consider anyone but themselves.

I wish I could find some peace in this, but all I feel is a great sense of despair and futility. So I guess, despite acknowledging my powerlessness, I still haven't let go. Probably silly, as there's so many other, more real things in the world to be unhappy about.

A good friend told me once that it is impossible to turn someone around to your point of view with arguments and logic alone. The best you can do is present your position to them and then let them make up their minds on their own.
