I honestly didn't need that wisdom tooth anyway. The molar it might have once matched up to was pulled long ago; and it was a (literal) pain for years, playing peek-a-boo through my gums, before finally losing its crown. I won't miss it.

I feel... like you'd expect for someone who had his mouth held open and a tooth pried out. Resting at home now. In an hour, maybe less, the main nerve is going to wake up and find out that one of its kidneys is missing. I'm taking the ibuprofen now. And then, maybe, I'll take it out on some folks in CoD or TF2.

Lower right, #32 on the chart. So at least they didn't have to stand me on my head, too.

Ah. Actually, the oral surgeon I went to for mine said uppers are a lot easier to recover from. No stitches, much better odds against dry socket. I had both of my upper ones removed in the same sitting, felt horrible for - no joke - two hours after I came out of the anesthesia, took one of the super ibuprofens, and then I fell asleep. When I woke up, I felt... fine. It was the most anticlimactic surgery recovery process ever.

Weirdly, I don't have lower wisdom teeth. Not even the unerupted buds; X-rays just show bone there. Talk about your unimpressive mutant powers.
