Police made 'errors' during raid on Megaupload boss

So here's a question for my readers: who deserves to keep all that confiscated money and stuff?

(a) the media oligopoly, whose conduct is well-known;
(b) Mr. Dotcom (*snicker*), who clearly profited from his wink-and-nod piracy service;
(c) the NZ police, who (if they're anything like cops in this country) were probably hoping this bust would fund their department for years to come;
(d) none of the above?

Mr. Dotcom, who will undoubtedly have fines to pay if convicted (I haven't followed whether he has or not); if not convicted, then it's his property anyway. Either way, it's his money and stuff.

Or it could be sent to a disinterested party, like me.
