This morning I dreamt of meeting one of my high school crushes at a reunion - still young and beautiful, though in real life she’s married and has two children. (For all I know, she’s still beautiful; I’m just sayin’, this was definitely my own idealized version.) The weird part, though I didn’t realize it at the time, was that our real history was replaced by the events of Sixteen Candles.

I think this is a sign to stop watching Molly Ringwald movies, though I fear the damage is already done.
