Half an hour after midnight, and the temperature (inside and outside) is finally comfortable. As in 65-70 F.

I will be very glad when Nestea Cool either stops production or changes ad campaigns. I'm tired of seeing that freaky skeletal snowman. Even more than I am of this heat.

I'm with ya there. So, women dig skeletanized snowmen with big noses? Horny snowmen? Usually when I see things like that Susie wakes me up and tells me it's okay, and I can stop screaming because I'm scaring the cats. You have to wonder how much crack is being smoked in Madison avenue these days.
Maybe it's the same company that came up with the "Yoo-hoo" anti-drug campaign, if that didn't drive thousands of children to drug addiction, I don't know what would.

As a New Yorker, I can tell you that we're pretty sure they stopped smoking crack a while ago and now are working their way through hallucinogenics pretty quickly.

Oh, the heat can just stop. Now.

I do not function well in hot weather. Nor do I breathe well in it. 'Nuff said.

It's a bad sign when you're sitting in the car and it's overheating to the point that the A/C is pumping out hot air from the engine -- and you can feel the oven-like air being breathed in...through your mouth, gack, now the nose, feh, while you sweat for no particular reason while the wind and breezes play in the branches of the tree *across* the street.

Gah, and it's not even into the 100's in terms of *real* temperature here yet.

Let alone that LanthSis, while driving up here tonight, hit a random storm with enough wind that her 60mph car went to 40mph from wind alone. She decided to park on the side of the road after that. Meanwhile, here, we got more humidity and some dribbled precipitation.
