Date: 2003-08-17 11:21 am (UTC)He called the session there, actually; it was getting toward the end of the evening, it was the perfect cliffhanger moment (we throw ourselves through, and find ourselves in a red desert with weird plant-life - NOT the Gate Room), and this way he has until next week to figure out just where we ended up).
I annoyed him a little, I think, at the beginning of the game by being an SG-1 genre fiend. It's only fair that it work in his favor as well. Besides, if I hadn't said anything, the newsgroup would have been full of angry nitpickers the next day wondering why it didn't happen this time... ;)
