Just what I needed

cmdr_zoomI'm very glad I went out and was social this evening. First, there was tea with the usual group (to make up for the fact that at the usual time tomorrow, most of them will be up in Portland, tagging along on ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
biomekanic's aquarium-nerd shopping trip/pilgrimage). Then there was a marvelous seafood dinner (jumbo shrimp, lobster tails, portabella mushrooms with crab meat and melted cheese on top, and finally salmon with mango sauce), in part to celebrate sbloss's birthday. And finally, a very entertaining session of the SG-13 game that was run troupe-style, with each of us playing the parts of the other PCs' families as we got a glimpse of their lives outside the SGC ... and one of the best WHAM-WHAM-WHAM endings I've seen in my years of gaming.
