Good weekend

cmdr_zoomMy day yesterday was long, but good - got up early, saw LotR with friends, went to Denny's for an indulgent brunch, then back home for a nap before evening gaming. I'd set my alarm for 5 p.m., expecting a 5:30 pickup; I'd just gotten up when I got a call asking if it was alright if they came right over. So I got dressed and was picked up still in a rather half-awake state, which I compared to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
pjack's usual condition. There was gift-giving and the usual great cooking by biomekanic.
Went to bed early-ish, slept in a little and dinked around some before finally getting out of the house about an hour before sunset and shopping for Christmas presents. Got over half of my list covered, and I'll be making another trip to another shopping center tomorrow to collect the rest. Some impulse buys for myself also, such as the Robin Wood Tarot, which I've had my eye on for a while. (Thanks to my boss for a very generous Christmas bonus this year.)
Now for the usual Sunday evening chores, laundry, and dinner.
