I was there from 12:00 to 1:00, but no one else showed up. Oh well - other people wanted the table.

Thoughts about character backgrounds that won't make much sense to anyone not in naudiz's upcoming Buffy game:

sbloss: You can still justify buying the "Misfit" quality. Hanging around with us darkies from out of town would be just the latest in a long (juvenile) record of bad or at least irresponsible behavior.

indiecowboy: If you're still thinking about alternatives that would also fit a mystic background, I had the thought that maybe your character could be Chinese; this quality includes a Weird Old Relative (grandparent, aunt or uncle) absolutely free! ("Pay attention, child!" *thwack*) Or you could go for black and Chinese - double the family wackiness! (Hey, it works for Tiger.)

Oh, and while I'm at it: hey, lethran! Can you tell me what the current best-guess timeframe is for the historical Arthur? Nearest century will suffice.

find the date the Roman's pulled out of Britain officially, and add a few years. Current historical belief is Artorius was a Roman General.

OOC, how interesting... my character has some intersection at that point in history as well...

Only in the sense of "we should get together for tea tomorrow" murmurings at the end of the Amber session. Silly me, I took that as a mandate. :/

Still, the chocolate and scones were good as usual. Thanks for the date on Artorius, and I'm glad my suggestions were appreciated.
