cmdr_zoomSo the temp job (that I forgot to make a note of being hired for) ended today.
I dug them out of a pretty deep hole the last person left them with, and they were more than satisfied with my performance ("exemplary"); they said they'd write me a recommendation, and I thanked them for giving me the opportunity and wished them well in finding someone to fill the position permanently.
It really has been a great two months. I got to work in my chosen field again (legal assistant), in an office with many friendly people, and have my skills and experience not only used but praised. I have no regrets, save of course that it ended.
Back to the search.
